THE ASSIGNMENT
The Freelance Content Strategist will lead the development of 360 content strategy for the brand across US and Canadian markets for 2026. You'll turn brand goals into actionalble content plans that drive awareness, trial and emotional connection. You'll build and own the editorial calendar across all touchpoints: social, digital, partnerships and always on.
We're looking for a strategic leader who's fluent in social, tapped into culture, and driven by storytelling. You'll work in partnership with the Creative Director to oversee how the brand shows up across owned, earned and paid channels, helping to build the vision, strategy and output of a nimble team and best-in-class partners.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in content, social or digital brand marketing roles
- A proven track record of building lifestyle brands through storytelling and standout content
- Deep fluency in Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Meta and what makes each scroll-worthy. Podcast experience is a plus
- Strong team leadership chops, manging internal teams, freelancers and creative partner
- Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data and insights into creative gold
- Passion for culture, community and bringing big, buzzworthy ideas to life
