C2’s client, a well-established and evolving advertising agency with a proud history of client satisfaction, seeks a WhatsApp Marketing Specialist to spearhead and manage WhatsApp digital advertising initiatives across both organic and paid media.

This agency’s clientele spans industries including healthcare, artisan products, sports teams, and restaurants—thriving on integrated strategies (print, PR, digital, broadcast, influencer, experiential) that drive measurable impact.

Their newest client is an international brand launching in the U.S. market this August. To support the launch, they’re searching for a hands-on WhatsApp Marketing Specialist who knows how to turn WhatsApp into a high-performing, brand-aligned channel for both paid and organic efforts.

Start Date: ASAP (Launch target: August 11)
Location: Remote (U.S.-based talent preferred)
Duration: Part-time, as needed, asynchronous schedule; 3 months, with potential for extension
Compensation: Commensurate with experience, $25–$35/hour
Technology: Candidates for this role must provide their own hardware and software

About the Role

You’ll work closely with the agency’s experienced Digital Media Director to strategize, build, and execute a smart, scalable WhatsApp presence—from account setup and audience segmentation to campaign performance monitoring and CRM integration. This is a 70% execution / 30% strategy role. If you’re fluent in WhatsApp Business tools, performance metrics, and conversational conversion, you could be a fit.

You’ll shape a U.S.-based startup by marketing to an international audience from the ground up—establishing best practices, capturing global customer attention, and collaborating with a smart, nimble team that gets things done. Your WhatsApp expertise will help this launch not just happen, but succeed.

What You’ll Do

  • Set up and configure the client’s WhatsApp Business presence, including profile, integrations, and compliance best practices
  • Plan and launch Click-to-WhatsApp ad experiences (in collaboration with the agency’s media team), optimizing for performance and engagement
  • Build organic messaging flows including broadcasts, catalog sharing, opt-ins, and potential automation
  • Establish KPIs and reporting dashboards (e.g., in Looker Studio) to track performance, iterating for ROI and user experience
  • Integrate WhatsApp with HubSpot or comparable CRM tools for segmentation and contact management
  • Act as a subject matter expert to guide the client and agency team through setup, usage, optimization, and what’s next
  • Stay ahead of WhatsApp Business updates, policies, and trends, and apply them strategically

What You Bring

  • 1+ years of hands-on experience with WhatsApp Business marketing, both organic and paid (Click-to-WhatsApp ads)
  • Proven ability to build and execute WhatsApp campaigns from scratch, including integrations and conversion tracking
  • Comfort working with asynchronous, remote teams and collaborating with existing digital marketers
