Job Description


C2ā€™s client, a consultant for an organization in the travel and leisure industry, is looking for a Social Media Strategy and Analytics Specialist to help refine their digital marketing efforts. This role will be crucial in transforming their current approach from creative content posting to a data-driven strategy that leverages Google Analytics and social media metrics to optimize performance and drive sales. This candidate will work closely with the Project Manager to assess the current social and digital footprint, set up analytics, and provide actionable insights that inform their overall strategy.

As soon as they find the right person
Duration: Part-time, contract, approximately 1 month, with potential for ongoing work as needed
Location: Remote
Compensation:Ā  Competitive based upon skills and experience.


Specific Responsibilities:


Google Analytics Setup & Management:



  • Expert in setting up and managing Google Analytics, with a particular focus on tracking campaigns and deriving meaningful insights

  • Ability to provide weekly reports on performance metrics such as impressions, clicks, bounce rates, and shares, to help guide strategy and improve results


Social Media Analytics & Strategy:



  • Experience pulling comprehensive campaign snapshots from platforms such as Facebook and Instagram to evaluate campaign effectiveness

  • Assist in developing data-driven social media strategies that align with company goals to increase brand awareness and drive conversions


Campaign Creation & Execution:



  • Assist in creating and executing campaigns on Facebook and Instagram, with a strong emphasis on messaging and strategy rather than creative content

  • Help explore paid advertising options to expand our reach


WordPress Analytics & SEO Plugin Expertise:



  • Familiarity with WordPress SEO plugins (e.g., Yoast) and social media analytics plugins

  • Ability to set up and manage WordPress pages as needed


SEO & UTM Management:



  • Knowledge of UTM codes to track the effectiveness of campaigns across different platforms

  • Experience in managing SEO efforts, including optimizing website content and keywords for better search engine visibility


Qualifications:



  • Hands-on experience with campaign creation and execution on Facebook and Instagram

  • Experience with Google PPC setup and management

  • Strong SEO background


Super Bonus:



  • Experience working with WordPress social media & SEO analytics plugins

  • Familiarity with the travel and leisure industry
