About the Role

As Canva continues to deepen its Truly Local strategy, Vietnam stands out as one of our most critical growth markets. As Growth & Marketing Lead for Vietnam, you will support Canva’s growth—driving user acquisition, retention, and monetization through a data-driven, experimental approach.

You’ll work closely with Canva’s Regional Launcher for Vietnam, who is focused on laying the initial groundwork for our market entry. Together, you’ll bring to life our go-to-market strategy in a truly local way—ensuring that the experiments, brand activities, and product experiences deeply resonate with our Vietnamese audience.

What you'd be doing in this role

• Develop and execute a multi-year, metrics-driven growth and marketing strategy for Vietnam
• Lead experiments across acquisition, activation, and monetization to unlock user growth
• Plan and deliver integrated marketing campaigns, content strategy, and partnership programs to drive awareness and demand
• Collaborate cross-functionally to localize pricing, packaging, onboarding, and product experience
• Identify and launch local partnerships that amplify growth and elevate Canva's presence
• Shape content, PR, and brand-building initiatives based on data and user insights
• Influence central teams to prioritize Vietnam-specific needs
• Help build a lean, high-performing local team

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in growth and/or marketing leadership within a high-growth SaaS or product-led company
• Deep understanding of Vietnam's digital landscape, cultural context, and consumer behaviour
• Strong analytical skills; fluent in experimentation, funnel optimisation, and campaign effectiveness
• Leadership experience managing cross-functional teams and marketing specialists
• Fluent in Vietnamese and English; exceptional communication and influencing skills
• Strategic thinker with passion for hands-on execution
• Passion for Canva's mission and values

About the team

Canva’s International Supergroup is a diverse, distributed team focused on driving growth in our key regions. You’ll partner with leads across product, marketing, finance content, education, B2B and non-profits to build a growth plan, and strategy to drive sustainable user and revenue growth in international markets.

This role will lead our growth and marketing execution in Vietnam, helping us acquire, activate, and retain users while building a trusted, loved brand. Your work will help Canva become the most loved design platform in the region.
