Job Description for Google Ads & Social Media Marketing Specialist

Scope:

  • Starts at minimum 20 hours per week
  • Managing small daily advertising budgets requiring cost-effective approach
  • Primary focus on New Zealand market with potential expansion to Australian market
  • Direct reporting relationship with business owner
  • Potential to expand role into broader marketing responsibilities including organic social media
  • Flexible to accommodate additional marketing tasks to utilize full allocated hours
  • Remote work arrangement with preference for Australian time zone candidates


    Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize Google Ads campaigns for maximum ROI and conversion performance
  • Oversee Facebook/Meta advertising campaigns including audience targeting and ad creative optimization
  • Create compelling ad headlines and copy that resonates with the target motherhood audience
  • Monitor campaign performance, analyze metrics, and provide regular reporting on results
  • Optimize ad spend allocation across platforms to maximize budget efficiency
  • Develop and execute organic social media marketing strategies as needed
  • Create social media content and posts to support overall marketing objectives
  • Collaborate directly with you to align campaigns with business goals


Requirements


  • Proven experience managing Google Ads and Facebook/Meta advertising campaigns
  • Portfolio demonstrating specific revenue results and ROI achievements from previous campaigns
  • Google Ads certification and demonstrated expertise in paid advertising platforms
  • Excellent English writing skills with ability to create compelling ad copy and headlines
  • Strong analytical skills with experience tracking ROI, conversions, and campaign performance
  • Preference for candidates who are parents (to better understand target audience pain points)
  • Experience working with small businesses and managing limited advertising budgets effectively
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote environment
