About the Role
The Field Marketing Specialist will lead and execute grassroots marketing initiatives across the Dallas market, driving brand awareness, trial, and sales through high-impact field programs and event activations. This role operates autonomously in-market while partnering closely with the Director of Field Marketing on strategy, reporting, and performance. The ideal candidate brings hands-on, in-house brand experience (not agency), thrives in fast-paced startup environments, and excels at building and managing high-performing brand ambassador teams.
What You'll Do
- Recruit, hire, train, and manage a team of brand ambassadors to represent the brand in-market
- Lead the day-to-day execution of field marketing programs, sampling initiatives, and event activations
- Uphold brand standards, messaging, and executional excellence across all field efforts
- Implement and execute go-to-market strategies at the local level in alignment with national priorities
- Manage field marketing budgets, track spend, and ensure efficient allocation of resources
- Develop, implement, and report on ROI tracking to measure program effectiveness and optimize performance
- Plan, coordinate, and execute events, including weekend and evening activations as required
- Identify and secure grassroots marketing opportunities, local partnerships, and community engagements
- Serve as the primary field marketing lead for the Dallas market, operating independently while escalating insights, wins, and challenges to leadership
- Travel within the region as needed to support events and market expansion
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3+ years of field marketing experience directly with a brand (not an agency)
- Strong background in CPG, preferably with startup or high-growth brands
- Proven experience building, training, and managing brand ambassador teams
- Demonstrated success in grassroots, experiential, and event-based marketing environments
- Experience managing budgets and tracking ROI for field marketing programs
- Highly resourceful, self-motivated, and comfortable operating autonomously
- Strong knowledge of the Dallas, TX market, with the ability to support activations within a 50-mile radius
- Willingness to work weekends and travel as event schedules require
- Must be 21+ years of age
- Ability to pass a background check
- Must have a reliable personal vehicle
