About HardBeauty
HardBeauty is more than a workplace—it’s a movement. We’re a women-led, recovery-rooted, and community-powered organization dedicated to peer recovery coaching, advocacy, and systemic change. We walk alongside people in recovery, creating access to life-changing services, programs, and hope.
And we’re growing.
We’re looking for a Digital Media & Content Strategist who can help us amplify voices, tell stories that matter, and shine a light on the powerful work happening in our community every day.
Your Role in the Mission
As our Digital Media & Content Strategist, you’ll be the creative engine behind how HardBeauty shows up in the world. You’ll:
Shape our social media presence by planning, creating, and scheduling content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok. You’ll manage our posting calendar, craft captions that reflect our voice and values, and keep the conversation going by engaging with comments and messages.
Bring our story to life through reels and video content, whether by editing short clips, capturing behind-the-scenes moments, or spotlighting the voices of our community through testimonials.
Keep our visuals aligned and inspiring, designing branded flyers, Canva templates, presentations, and internal docs so everything we share feels like HardBeauty.
Support our digital home base by making small but meaningful updates to our WordPress site—like event pages, blogs, or program highlights—and ensuring our web and social content feel connected.
Collaborate with the team to celebrate wins, elevate stories, and amplify the programs that are changing lives.
At the heart of this role, you’re not just creating content—you’re helping people see what’s possible through recovery, resilience, and community.
Why Join HardBeauty?
This role is about more than likes, follows, and shares—it’s about using creativity to drive impact. By joining our team, you’ll:
Own the voice and visuals that introduce HardBeauty to the world, turning our programs and people into stories that inspire change.
See your work matter instantly—your posts, reels, and designs will directly reach people who need hope, support, and a reminder they’re not alone.
Have freedom to be creative, experiment, and try new things in a supportive environment.
Grow with us—this part-time role has the potential to expand as HardBeauty continues to grow.
Be part of a mission-driven family where your talents don’t just fuel campaigns—they help fuel recovery.
What You Bring
A creative eye and a knack for telling stories visually and with heart.
Experience building and running social media campaigns (show us your work—we’d love to see your portfolio!).
Strong Canva skills and an understanding of how design shapes a brand.
Comfort with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn (especially Reels and Stories).
Solid writing skills that capture emotion and reflect HardBeauty’s voice.
Willingness to roll up your sleeves, try new things, and figure it out along the way.
Alignment with our mission and belief in the power of recovery, community, and hope.
Bonus if you:
Have lived experience in recovery or with justice-impacted/mental health communities.
Have nonprofit or grassroots communications experience.
What We Offer
A supportive, creative, and visionary team rooted in purpose.
Flexible, primarily remote work environment.
Opportunity to tell powerful stories that inspire hope and drive systemic change.
Growth pathway into a full-time role with leadership potential.
