Description

Duties and Responsibilities

The Online Communications Officer requires someone with Drupal expertise dedicated to assist with the following on the WMO website and microsites: 

  • Implementing a website governance structure, 
  • Improving the information flow as well as the user-ability of the website, through implementing changes to navigation etc
  • Supporting daily updates to the website 
  • Optimizing WMO content for Google AI search results, and to improve website accessibility

 

Required Skills and Experience

Education: A first level university degree

Experience: At least 3 years progressively responsible experience with Drupal website.

 

Other Requirements

Your profile:

  • Familiarity with Drupal’s interface, node management, and content types. 
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and SEO tools. 
  • Experience creating and managing Drupal microsites, forms, etc. 
  • Working knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AAA accessibility standards 
  • Experience with multilingual CMS and translation workflows 
  • Proficiency in web analytics platforms (Google Analytics 4 or equivalent)

Salary and Allowances: Pay band B

Duration: 4 days per week over a period of 6 months
