Job Description:
· Strategy
Create and document effective communication strategy for the Business Unit
Brand Promise rollout
Increased employee engagement
Produce a wide range of content type for Business Unit
Ensure consistency in the way business unit leaders communicate business strategy throughout the company
Customer Journey
Design sketches for customer journey mapping
· Internal communication
Coordinate internal communications flow and polish content for: all employee town halls, memos, newsletters, employee recognition, presentations etc.
Arrange talking points for videos, town halls, statements, power point presentations
Plan events & admin support: seminars, leadership impact summit
Coach on presentations dry runs for executives (Board of Director’s meetings)
Power Point support and critique for Major presentations.
· Coordinate with Marketing team
Draft business unit content for company website
Arrange talking points for videos, interviews, statements, etc.
· Technical to laymen – internal and external
Message technical product and service into easy to understand media (presentations, talking points, memos)
Additional Qualifications/ResponsibilitiesEducation: College or Associates Degree in Communications, Marketing, Psychology, Elementary Education, Behavioral Science, English, Drama, Theater, Social work, or related fields with extensive communications experience
Experience and skills:
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years experience in a Communications or Marketing capacity
Must have: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint
Nice to have: MS Sway, Slack, MS Forms, language skills: German, Finnish, Chinese

Remote (If based in Groton, CT or MacDill AFB – would prefer 1-2 hours / week in person).
Hours: 10-20 hours per week (mutually agreed set days and hours weekdays between 7 am- 8pm EST)
Pay: $20-25/hr depending on experience
Must be legal to work in the US
No travel required
