Job Overview:
We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior or Mid-Level Content Writer, based on Colombia to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating and publishing high-quality, casino-related content aimed at boosting our website’s authority, improving search engine visibility, and driving consistent organic traffic. The ideal candidate combines strong writing skills with a keen understanding of digital content performance and a passion for delivering value to readers.
This role requires exceptional writing and editing skills, with a strong command of grammar, tone, and storytelling. Candidates should have a foundational understanding of SEO best practices and content strategy principles. Experience working with content management systems (CMS) is also essential, including tasks such as publishing, formatting, and basic troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation & Optimization
• Write engaging and persuasive daily content focused on casinos and sports betting, tailored to improve search engine rankings and encourage user registration.
• Ensure all content aligns with SEO best practices, using keywords and strategies that boost visibility and drive organic traffic.
• Adapt tone, style, and vocabulary to suit both the Colombian and Mexican markets, taking into account regional nuances and expressions.
Research & Strategy
• Conduct thorough research on online casinos, betting platforms, promotional offers, and user strategies to create informed and accurate content.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and developments in the iGaming space to maintain content relevance and authority.
Editing & Quality Assurance
• Proofread and edit your own work with attention to grammar, clarity, and consistency.
• Review and refine content submitted by freelance writers to ensure it meets our quality standards and editorial guidelines.
Content Management
• Publish and format content using WordPress, ensuring proper structure, internal linking, and use of media.
• Collaborate with the SEO and content strategy teams to align publication timelines and content goals.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in Content Writing for SEO.
• Strong understanding of SEO principles, search engine algorithms, and ranking factors.
• Native-level Spanish proficiency with the ability to adapt content for both Colombian and Mexican audiences, including slang, idiomatic expressions, and cultural references.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a persuasive and professional approach.
• Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress).
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy when publishing content and proofreading.
• Familiarity with analytics tools like Google Search Console or SEMrush is a plus, to evaluate content performance and adjust strategy.
• Experience working with remote teams or international markets is a plus, especially in content collaboration and feedback processes.
