Social Media Growth Strategist & Content Creator

JoyFoodSunshine is an established recipe website and brand reaching millions of readers every month. We're looking for an experienced Social Media Growth Strategist & Content Producer to grow our presence across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.

You'll partner directly with the CEO to develop and execute a social media growth strategy, turn recipe content into high-performing social content, edit videos, publish content, analyze results, and continuously improve performance.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record of growing social media accounts, works independently, and requires minimal onboarding beyond learning our brand voice.

​​​This role begins as a 90-day contractor engagement with the opportunity to increase the retainer and/or transition to a full-time role. This is a remote position.

What You'll Do
Strategy & Growth

• Develop growth strategies across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube
• Analyze performance, identify trends, and optimize content

Content Production

• Edit recipe and lifestyle videos in Adobe Premiere Pro
• Create platform-specific content
• Write hooks, captions, text overlays, and CTAs
• Repurpose recipes into multiple social formats designed to maximize engagement

Publishing & Analytics

• Schedule and publish content
• Manage the content calendar
• Track engagement, follower growth, watch time, retention, shares, saves, and traffic
• Use data to improve results

Your Skills & Experience

• Proven success growing social media accounts with measurable results
• Able to clearly explain your contribution to growth
• An understanding that success includes engagement, email subscribers, brand awareness, and website traffic
• Experience with recipe creators, influencers, or food brands
• Expert in short-form video editing using Adobe Premiere Pro
• Strong knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube
• Experience using analytics to guide strategy
• Self-directed, accountable, and results-oriented
• Experience driving website traffic through social media
• Experience with Kit (ConvertKit) preferred
