Role Overview
We’re looking for a hands-on Social Media Content Manager to turn existing photo/video assets into high-performing Reels and carousels, publish across channels, and keep a consistent, on-brand presence. You’ll receive a steady stream of content from Michael and take it from edit → caption → schedule → post → track, with light strategy input and tool recommendations as we scale.
Core Responsibilities
● Short-form editing & design
○ Edit vertical Reels/Shorts from supplied footage/stills (cuts, pacing, music, text overlays, basic motion).
○ Build carousel posts (narrative sequencing, typography, image crops) that tell a
clear story.
● Publishing & scheduling
○ Own a weekly content calendar; schedule and publish across Instagram (primary), Facebook, X/Twitter, Threads, LinkedIn, and begin TikTok and YouTube Shorts presence.
○ Optimize per-platform (hooks, lengths, covers, tags, hashtags, keywords).
● Copywriting & brand voice
○ Write concise, compelling captions; adapt tone for each platform.
○ Add credits, locations, and basic SEO/keywords (esp. for YouTube/LinkedIn).
● Workflow & tools
○ Use/implement schedulers (e.g., Metricool), repurposing tools (e.g.,
Repurpose.io), and lightweight edit tools (Premiere/CapCut/Canva) to speed up output.
○ Maintain an organized asset library and naming/versioning.
● Reporting & iteration
○ Track basic KPIs (reach, saves, watch time, follower growth); deliver quick weekly highlights and recommendations.
○ Identify trends/audio and propose simple tests (A/B hooks, covers, caption
formats).
