Online/Virtual Luxembourgish Teacher

Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are currently looking for a Luxembourgish Language Teacher to provide customized lessons to our clients online.

Job Information:

Ref 191637: Online Luxembourgish classes for a 6-year-old boy

•    Availability: Tuesday or Thursday between 2 and 3:30 pm / Monday and Wednesday, around 5:30pm
•    Preferred start date: ASAP
•    Lesson Frequency: 3x a week
•    Lesson Duration: 30-60minute
•    Current Location/ Time Zone: Luxembourg
•    Preferred platform: Any
•    Current Luxembourgish language level: Complete beginner
•    language spoken at home: Afrikaans (native), English
•    Student’s language needs and goals: Everyday language for school; practicing making friends. 
•    Additional information: His interests are video games, movies, dance, rugby, soccer, Minecraft game, playing outdoors and animals, David Attenbourgh tv series.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons
• Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency levels and desired outcomes
• Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals
• Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner

Qualifications:

• Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language
• Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or related field
• Minimum of two years of experience
