Online Portuguese language teacher who can speak Japanese

You have complete control over your lessons, and we don't require a minimum number of hours weekly or monthly.

• Students: 1 adult
• Availability: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 12pm-4pm - Tokyo, Japan time
• Preferred start date: ASAP 
• Lesson Frequency:  2x per week 
• Lesson Duration: 1h each
• Current Location/ Time Zone: Tokyo, Japan 
• Preferred platform: Zoom
• Current target language level: Complete beginner 
• Language spoken at home: Japanese
• Student’s language needs and goals: Daily communication. 
• Additional information: Concerned about adaptation in Brazil as she doesn't speak English nor Portuguese. She is interested in Brazilian culture, shopping malls, food, dogs, lifestyle.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons
• Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes
• Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners towards learning goals
• Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner

Qualifications:

• To have native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language
• To have a degree or certification in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or a related field
• To have a minimum of two years of teaching German experience
