Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct Algebra Champions and Learn & Earn programs for Science Bound. These programs are held at Des Moines North High School and focus on supporting students in algebra and pre-algebra concepts through instruction, engagement, and academic support.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
- Proficiency in teaching algebra and pre-algebra concepts
- Teaching degree or current progress toward a teaching degree
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience teaching math at the middle school and/or high school level
- Experience with classroom management
- Experience with lesson planning and curriculum development
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship. Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.
