Every day, tens of millions of people come to Roblox to explore, create, play, learn, and connect with friends in 3D immersive digital experiences– all created by our global community of developers and creators.
At Roblox, we’re building the tools and platform that empower our community to bring any experience that they can imagine to life. Our vision is to reimagine the way people come together, from anywhere in the world, and on any device. We’re on a mission to connect a billion people with optimism and civility, and looking for amazing talent to help us get there.
A career at Roblox means you’ll be working to shape the future of human interaction, solving unique technical challenges at scale, and helping to create safer, more civil shared experiences for everyone.
We're looking for a Community Manager to be the day-to-day voice of Roblox across our social and community platforms. You'll spend your time where our players actually are: in comment sections of our existing channels building genuine relationships, engaging with community content, spotting what's resonating, and keeping our spaces positive and engaging. This is a role for someone who genuinely loves Roblox, understands internet culture, and can represent a brand authentically.
This is a Short Term position for 6 months with potential for a Full-Time Opportunity.
You Will:
-
Engage with our community online. . Be the friendly, on-brand presence replying to fans on TikTok, Instagram, X, YouTube etc. daily.
-
Keep communities healthy. Moderate channels proactively: remove spam, address bad actors, and make sure our spaces feel safe and welcoming.
-
Stay ahead of the conversation. Monitor community sentiment and surface emerging trends, memes, and potential issues to the team before they escalate.
-
Support content and campaigns. Partner with Integrated Marketing Managers to launch community-driven activations (polls, Q&As, challenges, game feature moments) that actually get people engaged.
You Have:
-
2+ years in community management, social media, or a related role (gaming industry experience is a strong plus)
- Deep familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, X, Reddit, and Discord: you know the culture of each, not just the features
- Genuine love for Roblox and an understanding of the games, creators, and communities within the platform
- Strong written communication skills and the ability to match a brand voice across very different contexts and channels
- Good instincts for when something is a fun moment to lean into vs. a situation that needs escalation or needs to be left alone
- Organized, flexible and calm under pressure, community work moves fast and sometimes gets messy
Good to have:
- Experience with social listening or community analytics tools
- Comfort writing internal documentation or playbooks
- Any experience supporting or moderating communities with younger audiences
