Position Overview: Part-Time Digital Marketing Strategist

We are seeking a Part-Time Digital Marketing Strategist with a deep understanding of the NYC parenting and education market. This role is ideal for a proactive, analytical thinker capable of developing, analyzing, and refining marketing strategies based on quantifiable data.

In this role, you will craft high-quality marketing materials and manage the dynamic needs of our campaigns, all within a flexible, virtual work environment.

Position Details:

  • Compensation: $25 – $40 per hour (dependent on experience and portfolio strength)

  • Hours: 10–30 hours per week (offers flexibility to fit your schedule)

  • Location: Remote

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Acquisition: Develop and refine a data-driven customer acquisition strategy tailored specifically to key segments within the NYC parenting and education markets.

  • Content Creation: Produce and manage compelling marketing content—including short-form videos, images, and brand narratives—that highlights the transformative impact of our programs.

  • SEO Optimization: Implement SEO best practices, conduct comprehensive keyword research, and optimize website content to maximize organic search visibility.

  • Channel Management: Manage and optimize our digital channels (primarily Instagram and YouTube), continuously evaluating engagement metrics to agilely adjust strategies.

  • Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze cross-channel campaign performance and SEO effectiveness, translating raw insights into clear strategic roadmaps.

Required Qualifications

  • Market-Specific Success: Demonstrated success in digital marketing within the NYC education and parenting sectors, with a heavy emphasis on data-driven decision-making.

  • Multimedia Expertise: Advanced skills in creating highly engaging multimedia content, backed by a robust portfolio showcasing video production, graphic design, and written copywriting.

  • Strategic Insights: In-depth knowledge of the behaviors, trends, and priorities unique to the NYC parenting community.
