  • Contract - 3 months to start, with high likelihood to extend
  • Hours - 20-25 hrs/week depending on project phase 
  • Rate - $60/hr
  • Location - Remote in the US. Need to work CST hours 

 

Job Description

The Opportunity

We're seeking a strategic Digital Marketing Manager to own and optimize our digital marketing channels. You'll lead email marketing, website strategy, content/SEO initiatives, and paid media oversight, ensuring all owned channels drive lead generation and brand awareness. This contract role is perfect for an experienced digital marketer who can balance hands-on execution with strategic thinking.

What You'll Do

Email Marketing & HubSpot

  • Develop and execute email marketing strategy including nurture sequences and promotional campaigns

  • Build templates, write copy, and coordinate with designer on creative assets

  • Implement segmentation and personalization tactics

  • Track performance and optimize for engagement and conversions

Website Strategy & Agency Management

  • Define website vision and strategy to support business objectives

  • Manage web development agency relationship during site overhaul project

  • Provide direction, review deliverables, and coordinate internal stakeholders

  • QA updates and ensure optimal user experience

Paid Media Oversight

  • Partner with paid media specialist to align campaigns with marketing strategy

  • Provide strategic direction on targeting, messaging, and priorities

  • Review performance and collaborate on optimization

Content & SEO

  • Develop content strategy based on keyword research and audience needs

  • Collaborate with team and freelancers on content creation

  • Optimize website content for search and user experience

  • Monitor SEO performance and implement improvements

Channel Management

  • Ensure cohesive messaging across all owned digital channels

  • Maintain marketing calendar and coordinate campaigns

  • Track performance and provide regular reporting with insights

  • Identify optimization opportunities and recommend new tactics

Qualifications

What You'll Bring

Experience & Skills

  • 5-7 years digital marketing experience, preferably in B2B technology or industrial markets

  • Strong HubSpot expertise (or similar marketing automation platform)

  • Proven email marketing strategy and execution experience

  • Website management and comfort working with web development agencies

  • Understanding of SEO principles and content marketing

  • Experience overseeing paid media channels

  • Strong analytical and project management skills
