The Opportunity
We're seeking a strategic Digital Marketing Manager to own and optimize our digital marketing channels. You'll lead email marketing, website strategy, content/SEO initiatives, and paid media oversight, ensuring all owned channels drive lead generation and brand awareness. This contract role is perfect for an experienced digital marketer who can balance hands-on execution with strategic thinking.
What You'll Do
Email Marketing & HubSpot
Develop and execute email marketing strategy including nurture sequences and promotional campaigns
Build templates, write copy, and coordinate with designer on creative assets
Implement segmentation and personalization tactics
Track performance and optimize for engagement and conversions
Website Strategy & Agency Management
Define website vision and strategy to support business objectives
Manage web development agency relationship during site overhaul project
Provide direction, review deliverables, and coordinate internal stakeholders
QA updates and ensure optimal user experience
Paid Media Oversight
Partner with paid media specialist to align campaigns with marketing strategy
Provide strategic direction on targeting, messaging, and priorities
Review performance and collaborate on optimization
Content & SEO
Develop content strategy based on keyword research and audience needs
Collaborate with team and freelancers on content creation
Optimize website content for search and user experience
Monitor SEO performance and implement improvements
Channel Management
Ensure cohesive messaging across all owned digital channels
Maintain marketing calendar and coordinate campaigns
Track performance and provide regular reporting with insights
Identify optimization opportunities and recommend new tactics
What You'll Bring
Experience & Skills
5-7 years digital marketing experience, preferably in B2B technology or industrial markets
Strong HubSpot expertise (or similar marketing automation platform)
Proven email marketing strategy and execution experience
Website management and comfort working with web development agencies
Understanding of SEO principles and content marketing
Experience overseeing paid media channels
Strong analytical and project management skills
